1.  Where do I pay my rent?

Rent checks can be brought to the leasing office, placed in the MRN drop box in the lobby of your building, or mailed to P.O. Box 14100, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

2. When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. It is considered late after 5:00pm on the 5th.

3. What is considered a Maintenance Emergency?

A maintenance emergency is a fire, gas leak, sewer back up, stopped up toilet (if you have only one), no water, no heat, you are locked out of your apartment, a parking issue or anything else that may cause personal property damage.  If any of these occur during non-office hours, please call our Emergency Maintenance number at (216) 403-1724.

4. How do I get my packages if they are delivered when I am not home?

We will sign for your USPS, UPS, DHL and FedEx packages at the leasing office if you are not home to receive them. We will deliver them in-suite with a signed permission form or keep them at the leasing office for you to pick up during office hours.

5. What utilities are residents responsible for?

All residents pay for their own electricity, which will be billed to them on a monthly basis by the electric company.  Residents must contact utilities to establish an account before move-in.

6. How much notice do I need to give before I move out?

You must give us at least a 30 day notice in writing before your lease is up.  To do this you must fill out an "Intent to Vacate" form which you can pick up in the leasing office or print from the documents to the right. Please contact the management office to discuss further.

7.  What do I do if I need to move before the end of my lease?

You are responsible for the full term of your lease.  However, if you must vacate your apartment prior to your lease expiration you are welcome to sublet your apartment.  The sub-lessee must fill out an application with the leasing office and be approved before they are allowed to move-in.  Please contact the office for further details.  

8. Does East 4th require renters insurance?

Yes, proof of renter's insurance is required prior to your move-in. If you do not currently have your own insurance, you can get a quote from any local provider.

9. Do you allow pets on East 4th?

One cat is allowed per unit in all buildings.  Prior to move in, a non-refundable $300 pet fee is required.

10. Do you have a resident referral program?

Yes, we do! We are happy to pay a referral fee to residents who refer a neighbor to join us here on East 4th Street! Referral fee will be deducted from the rent after the new resident’s move-in and only if the new resident signs the referral form on their first visit to the East 4th leasing office.

11.  Where do I recycle?

There is a recycling dumpster located in the alley behind Lola and La Strada.  Items that can be recycled are: newspapers, periodicals, magazines, junk mail, aluminum, metal and tin cans, glass beverage bottles and jars, plastic bottles and containers, dry good boxes, paper towel and toilet paper tubes, and cardboard.
